Do I need prior fishing experience to book a trip?
Not at all. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned pro, we tailor each outing to match your skill level and goals. Captain Wes provides hands-on instruction, from casting techniques to landing trophy fish.
What equipment is included in the package?
All essential gear is provided- rods, reels, tackle, and safety equipment. If you have a favorite rod or lure, feel free to bring it along; otherwise, we've got you covered with premium, well-maintained equipment.
How do you ensure sustainable fishing practices?
We follow strict catch guidelines for all species, take care to safely release any undersized or undesirable fish, and only taking what we need. Protecting our waterways today means better fishing tomorrow.
What do I need to bring?
Every angler needs a current California fishing license, with an ocear enhancement stamp, and if we are lobster fishing; a lobster report card. Make sure to have weather appropriate clothing and whatever food and drink you’d like for the day.
What do I do with my fish?
All fish are cared for with the utmost respect to the fish and the angler. Fish are immediately dispached and bled before being placed into an insulated fish bag full of ice. All trips include fish cleaning on the boat but, if youd like the fish professionally processed and packed in vaccum sealed bags; we can coordiante with a local processing company. Bring a cooler to transport your fish from the boat to your home.
